This is the new American Heritage Steamer Block! Like a favorite piece of luggage, this Steamer Block, the newest piece in the John Boos & Co. American Heritage lineup, is with you for the duration. With its 5 in. thick edge grain block, it offers everything a cook needs to handle a carving or chopping task. Note the cherry stained drawers under the 24 in. x 24 in. block: the top drawer is perfect for cutlery; the bottom one look like two small drawers, but is really only one deep drawer for kitchen tools. The aged brass square knobs enhance its beauty, and the two vintage leather steamer trunk handles add some flair while making it a perfect accompaniment to todays metro kitchen styles. Sturdy legs with a cherry finish make you think of this as a piece of fine furniture rather than a chopping station. The 5 in. thick top is #1 grade select edge grain butcher block.

John Boos Solid Maple Top Tables are the best made. This Solid Hard Rock Maple top is 1 1/2" Thick with a natural oil finish. This table has galvanized steel legs and support rails that are adjustable up and down. It is available in many sizes, several as listed below. These tables are shipped knocked down for fast & easy assembly. This table is perfect for storing a wine rack, food bowls, coffe makers, ect.. or add swivel stools underneath. It is also nice for a garbage can underneath it when you are doing a lot of prep work. This table is 35 in. tall. NSF Certified for safety. Option #2 changes the galvanized steel leg configuration to allow 4 stools to fit underneath! One of our Bakery kitchens is using a very large BOOS prep table for daily production of baked goods (click here to see it). These Commercial Tables have random maple pieces with slight color varations throughout. This table is 30 in. x 24 in. x 3 in. thick. It has a solid maple edge grain maple top. There is a 1 in. channeled groove on top to catch the juices from foods. The stainless steel shelf is removable and works great as a serving tray. This table has Dovetailed Maple drawers and a stainless steel towel bar. It is 35 in. high overall and weighs 177 lbs. This block has a FDA approved food safe natural finish.
The butcher block top requires rubbing with mystery oil, every few months to keep it looking new.
