Cherries Jubilee
 
 
Yields 2-4 Servings
 
Ingredients -
1 1/2 cups Brandy (use cheap stuff)
1/2 cup sugar
4 cups fresh or canned cherries ( pit the fresh ones)
vanilla ice cream
 
 
Procedure - 
In a saucepan, heat the brandy with the sugar until the sugar is 
dissolved, then add the cherries. Ignite the liquid very carefully with 
a long stemmed match and stir until the fire burns out. Simmer a few minutes and let the
mixture cool off. 
 
Scoop however much ice cream you want into 2 or 4 fancy bowls. Cover the ice 
cream with the warm cherries and their sauce.
